We are thrilled to welcome you to The Mint Cannabis Bud Drop 2024, where we’ve planned an unforgettable evening filled with excitement, delicious treats, amazing swag, and much more! To ensure you make the most of your night, here’s what to expect when you arrive at the event:
Event Details:
- Date and Time: 12/31/2023, from 9:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
- Location: 5210 S Priest Dr. Guadalupe, AZ 85283
- 21+ and Over event
- No onsite consumption
- No fighting
- No Smoking
- No Vaping
- No alcohol
- Event parking will be at the Hotel behind The Mint.
Party Highlights:
- 9:00 PM: Drinks and hot beverages will be available. (while supplies last)
- 10:00 PM: Food and snacks will be available.(while supplies last)
- 11:30 PM: We’ll be handing out party favors including lights, balloons, horns, hats, and noisemakers. Limited quantities will be available, but there will be enough for everyone to enjoy!
- 11:55 PM (Midnight): Get ready for a spectacular countdown and an amazing fireworks display.
- 12:00 AM: Fireworks will start.
- 12:10 AM: We’re giving away free 1/8th cards, valid for one day only, with one per customer. You could win a Flower 1/8th from Shango or Sunday Goods!
- 12:30 AM: Event End: As much as we’d love to party all night, we have to say goodbye at this point. But rest assured, we’ll send you off with unforgettable memories!

WHAT: Counting down the clock to midnight will be a ball – quite literally – when Mint Cannabis hosts its New Year’s Eve Great Bud Drop celebration on Sunday, Dec. 31, at its flagship dispensary in Tempe, Arizona. An enormous ball, simulated to resemble a giant orb of glowing bud, will drop from a pole in the Mint’s parking lot as revelers count down the final seconds of 2023 and ring in the new year.
Not only does the event signal the start of 2024, it’s also the beginning of an exciting milestone for the Mint. The dispensary’s Tempe location, which historically offered 24-hour service Thursday through Sunday only, will be open for 24 hours seven days a week beginning Jan. 1.
The Mint’s free New Year’s Eve celebration begins at 9 p.m. and will feature a DJ, delicious free food, vendors, fireworks, vibrant lighting effects, amazing swag, exciting games, and a photo booth to capture memories of all the fun. The first 200 attendees will receive a free New Year’s Eve Celebration Bundle, and the first 500 attendees 21 and older will receive a coupon for a free eighth of Shango flower with no purchase necessary.
As the night progresses, attendees can sample non-medicated treats like lemon cake and visit a hot cocoa bar. As midnight approaches, the Mint will roll out the party favors, with a selection of lights, balloons, horns, hats, and noisemakers. Raffles, giveaways, and some surprises throughout the event will make it a night to remember.
The Mint is also offering a way to help pet owners calm their pets’ New Year’s Eve-induced anxiety due to loud fireworks, crowds, and other excitement surrounding the holiday. From Dec. 26-31, the Mint will distribute a free CBD dog treat to any customer 21 and older who visits a Mint dispensary in metro Phoenix with their dog. (Dog must be present to receive a free CBD treat.)
