Mint Cannabis Serves Up Infused Thanksgiving Meal Sides & Desserts, Prepares for “Green Wednesday”

WHY: For some, Thanksgiving is more about the anxiety triggered by being in close quarters with relatives, which could bring about political discussions, excessive questioning about life goals and direction, inane banter, and increased social interaction. It’s no wonder that Green Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving) is one of the cannabis industry’s busiest days – second only to 4/20, in fact.

WHAT/WHEN: The Mint Cannabis team has a lot of things prepared to make the most of the Thanksgiving season:

BY MONDAY, NOV. 20

  • Adults ages 21 and older can order cannabis-infused Thanksgiving side dishes (100 mg each) from any of the Mint’s six Valley dispensaries. This includes gravy (4 oz.), Cranberry Sauce (4 oz.), Garlic Herb Butter (4 oz.), and Cornbread (5-inch) for $15 each. Sides and pies must be ordered by Monday, Nov. 2, for pickup at the Mint’s cannabis kitchen in Tempe between Nov. 21 and 23.
  • In addition, cannabis-infused pumpkin and pecan pies (5-inch) can be ordered for $20 each.
  • The Mint is also offering a Thanksgiving meal bundle, which includes infused gravy, cranberry sauce, butter, cornbread and one pie (either pumpkin or pecan) for $79.

WHY: “Green Wednesday” is the cannabis industry’s Black Friday. It’s the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and it’s the second-busiest day for dispensaries (April 20 is the busiest). Green Wednesday is one of the best days to score great deals on all kinds of cannabis products; it’s also especially busy because of the anxiety so many people have preparing to spend time with their families on Thanksgiving Day.

As Arizona’s only dispensary operator with the ability to offer 24-hour service at its Tempe location, Mint Cannabis is uniquely able to serve in-need individuals during the busy holiday season. A special holiday menu and offers throughout the week allow patients and customers over the age of 21 to ring in the holidays with products to meet their individual needs. Online and drive-thru ordering options provide further access and convenience for busy Arizonans this Thanksgiving.
